A couple good Art Shows

Been to a couple cool art shows in the last 2 weeks.

First off, mister Jim Darling had a showing at the Charmichael Gallery in Hollywood. Fucking great stuff Jim. Wish I had some money to buy a piece.

This last weekend we went over to the MOCA for the members opening night of the Dan Graham exhibition. Some good drinks and music with Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth (separately) performing. Got a shot of Thurston and Kim (she is right behind the woman with the green bag) with artist Dan Graham.

A day in Chinatown

This was a couple weeks ago, but we went downtown during the day and visited Chinatown. Its such a cool and different part of town. You can grab some food nearby and make a day of it.

This is the arcade ride directly outside of the Mountain Bar. You don’t know how many drunk friends I have seen get into that blue chair and go up and down in circles while we all laugh our asses off.

This is the entrance of Hop Louie’s a really cool and old school dive bar.

Afterwards we went over to our favorite massage place Pho Siam. A great Thai massage for a great price.
